The Low-Gain Electronics Dub Matrix Mixer is a 40hp 5x5 Active Matrix Mixer. Five channels of buffered inputs with mute/cut switches, the five input attenuators can be setup for unity or gain multiplying depending on the builders choice in resistors. Each output has it's own Mute/Cut switch as well. The module was designed for DIY beginners and build workshops. The boards have repetitious soldering which is great for practicing. The active buffer board uses 1206 parts which makes it great for beginners to learn SMT assembly. While not perfect, (like all passive matrix mixers) the Dub Matrix can be run passively if you remove the active buffer board and jumper the headers horizontally. However, the buffer board is what makes the Dub Matrix special! Very simple assembly, and a lot of fun, the Dub Matrix can mix audio or CV signals! Fantastic for feedback patches!
