Entropy is a DIY Eurorack sample and hold with white noise normalled to the input. and a pcb trimmer to adjust the spread(gain) of voltages out. All analog white, pink, and brown(red) noise is 10vpp~(dependent on white gain trim), and a smooth(infra red) random CV out 0-5v range, although offset can be tweaked with pcb trimmer.  A 3HP panel is included if the 2HP build is too tight!

Yup, it's a Zlob :)Review by revel8or
So, when I got mine, it came with two panels - a 3hp one and a 2hp. With a little creative bending of the header, and some very careful part selection, it is very possible to make this a very exact 2hp build.

It requires a few electrolytic capacitors, and if you order by size and capacitance through the supplier that starts with an *M*, you can make sure that they have the correct height, i.e. ultra short, and the correct distance between the leads.

So, this is my second Zlob build and, again, it was most challenging. The board is tiny, the resistors need to stand on end, and if you get a large component, you're screwed. The ICs need to mount *without* a connector, especially if you want it to be a 2hp fit, so some care is needed. The solder side of the board must be trimmed really close, so don't turn in to a berserker with the iron, eh?

Oh, there are five spots on the bottom of the main board that aren't used. After a bit of research, it seems that there might have been an expander, but it never materialized (at least at the time of this writing).

It seems that, again, as of this writing, that Zlob is redesigning a bunch of his stuff, so things tend to be out of stock, everywhere. When they come back around, grab 'em, you won't be disappointed. (Posted on 7/4/2017)
