This is for a PCB only in the Eurorack format. However - all SMD parts are already placed and soldered for you! Just add your through hole parts and go!


With this first run, we're also including the inductor, power header, switches, electrolytics, diodes, and switch caps. You'll still need the encoders, jacks, OLED, and Teensy (and headers)

Polymorphic, quantizing 4x CV processor/generator, built around DAC8565 and teensy 3.x (cortex M4)

  • 4x CV outputs (16 bit), 'in-the-loop' compensated, for proper DC accuracy. output range: -3v / +6v
  • 4x CV inputs (-3.5v / +6.5v, 12bit, 100k input impedance).
  • 4x digital inputs (100k input impedance, threshold ~ 2.5V)
  • trigger-to-quantized-output latency < 100us
  • 128x64 1.3" OLED display
  • reprogrammable / open-source

  • CopierMaschine: quantising, four stage analogue shift register (ASR), with user-editable scales.
  • Harrington 1200: basic neo-Riemannian Ton-Netz transformations
  • Automatonnetz: combines Ton-Netz transforms with a "vector" sequencer
  • Quantermain: quad quantiser with user-editable scales + built-in "Turing Machines"
  • Quadraturia: wavetable quadrature LFO
  • Low-rents: dual Lorenz and Rössler generators (strange attractors)
  • Piqued: quad voltage-controlled envelope generators
  • Dialectic Ping Pong: quad bouncing balls
  • Viznutcracker, sweet!: quad "byte beat" equation generator
  • References: a simple utility app that outputs specific reference voltages

Excellent, easy solution for an O_cReview by Ryan
Having screwed up an O_c build before (note: don't try to solder the headers for the Teensy separately - connect them, then solder the headers to the PCB and Teensy while they're resting on each other), I decided to take a chance on this PCB, since the SMC's are already in place. I wasn't expecting the extra rare parts on the side - the buttons, power header, OLED header, diodes, and capacitors were a huge time saver. I still had to buy the jacks, pots, Teensy (and headers), and OLED screen, though.

Still, this sped the build up, and I had fewer parts to source from other vendors. Excellent idea! (Posted on 4/28/2017)
