The Timo Rozendal Slim MPS is a recreation of the Thomas Henry Mega Percussive Synth (MPS) analog drum voice in a new 14hp slim package!
This project is an adaptation of the versatile drum module “Mega Percussive Synthesizer” designed by Thomas Henry for ElectroMusic. Read about the original version here and here. This adaptation is provided with permission of the rights holders and with a donation to Electro-Music.com for each pcb. This eurorack adaptation is using mostly smd components (0805) and is much smaller than the original, and it comes as 2 pcb with panel with no wiring required (except if you want to connect the cv expander, see later). The awesome panel design is done by Carlos Engel.
It has a few omissions and changes, notably these:
No inserts for the separate parts
No trigger level control on the front panel
No line level output.
No trigger/locket switch
The TL074 is replaced by 4x TL071 (was a test, but also simplified routing)
Added an optional CV expander to control the pitch of the Ringmod, the Pitch of the Impact and the Frequency of the filter.
